January is the time of new beginnings. But how do you begin if you don't know what you want in life. Time to decide what you want. You can begin very easily with a want list. For example: I want to be satisfied and respected at work. I want to be loved at home. I want to feel connected with Spirit. This is a great place to start! Now you can begin adding what things at work would help you to feel satisfied and respected, etc.
Time to start working with the Universe to manifest those things. The Universe acts like a waiter at a restaurant. It will check in but can't do very much to help us without our guidance, decisions and re-evaluations.
Our past, present and future are of our making. If we decide to order spaghetti and meatballs and the waiter brings tripe we can say "No, that is not what I ordered." We have to provide feedback for the Universe so that the true wishes and intent come through.
If you have been working on manifesting a new job and an opportunity comes up it is time to re-evaluate! This opportunity may be the Universe asking "Is this what you want?" You do not have to take this opportunity until you say "Did I order this? Is it a nice surprise with unexpected benefits? Or is it tripe and not what I ordered at all?" With every opportunity examine it a bit to see what pieces fit your overall want list. The Universe may be offering something similar, or a new direction or your unspoken fears and it is up to you to decide if it is what you want!
We are at the wheel of the car and the Universe is just the navigation. We have the ultimate choice of direction. Have fun creating your New Year!!
