Reiki heals all living beings so it can be a wonderful way to show our pets how much they mean to us. Pets often “pick-up” on our moods, both positive and negative, and Reiki can offer reassurance to your friend that they are safe and loved.
During a Reiki for an animal, the animal receiving a Reiki treatment meets the Reiki Practitioner to allow a sense of ease between them. The Reiki Practitioner begins the treatment by lightly laying their hands on the animal beginning at the head and will proceed through the remaining Reiki hand positions down the body as allowed by the animal. A simple touch or proximity is all that is needed to give Reiki.
