Reiki

Reiki, pronounced Ray-Key, is a Japanese word meaning "Universal Life Energy." In the healing art of Reiki, a person who is attuned as a Reiki Healer has had his or her body’s energy channels opened and cleared of obstructions by a Reiki Master. Everyone has the potential to heal through Reiki, however it is the attunements that allow the channeling of Reiki through the Healer to the person receiving the treatment.
Reiki heals all living beings on the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels.1
What to Expect During a Full Body Reiki Treatment
The person receiving a Reiki lies down on a comfortable table. Music is a wonderfully relaxing option with the treatment. The Reiki Practitioner begins the treatment by lightly laying their hands on the person beginning at the head and proceeding through the remaining Reiki hand positions down the body. On any personal areas, the healer's hands remain two to three inches above the body. During the treatment you may feel heat and/or tingling. Even if nothing is felt, a healing still occurs.
Reiki Classes
Everyone has the potential to heal through Reiki, however it is the attunements that allow the channeling of Reiki through the Healer to the person receiving the treatment. These attunements are given through a series of classes.
Reiki levels I, II, and Master classes are offered. The length of each class ranges from four hours to six hours depending upon the level being studied. Class time is divided between learning the appropriate material and hands-on practice. A manual is included for each student.
Reiki is a wonderful way to care for yourself, your family and your friends. These classes are fun and will empower you to continue to follow your path.
